Help support Beaver Technology Center by joining the PTA! Membership is only $8 per person and anyone can join: parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, even family friends, and students.
Each membership contributes to programs sponsored by the PTA at Beaver Technology Center. Your membership dues will also help support the Texas and National PTAs in their "mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children."
Your PTA membership not only helps the PTA, it also gives you voting rights! We hold three brief General PTA meetings throughout the school year (usually before a school event) where we need votes to determine how PTA funds are allocated or the election of PTA officers.
PTA members do not have to volunteer! Simply by joining you are showing your support. We will not contact you to volunteer unless you would like us to. Volunteer Interest Surveys will be distributed for those that would like to volunteer with either the PTA or school. You can also reach out to one of our board members or volunteer coordinator for more information on how you can help.

So What DO I Get Out Of It?
Most importantly, you will be supporting a national, state and local organization dedicated to making the educational experience a safe and positive one for not only your child but all children. They also petition national, state and local governments to execute positive changes in the direction of our educational system. More importantly, you are supporting your community.
But if you mean what perks do you personally get your membership, the TXPTA and National PTA have lists of the discounts you can take advantage of on their websites. Anything from theme park discounts, hotel and rental car discounts to Dell computer savings. Visit the following links for information.
