Watch D.O.G.S.

Beaver PTA is looking for male role-model to join the Watch D.O.G.S. program.  This was started back in 1998 so fathers, grandfathers, uncles or father-figures would come out for at least one a day a year and spend time at the school.  Typically they would help out in their son/daughter's classroom with various school activities throughout the day.  This would involve helping with classwork, assisting the teachers and adding the extra security in the classroom.  With the Watch D.O.G.S. program, it helps some of the students with out a father in their household to become a role-model to these students.  It is estimated that 23 percent of the families in 2016, were with single mothers with children under 18 were raised without a father in the household.  Since the beginning, over 6,400 schools are participating in the program, with millions of volunteering hours donated to helping in schools. Become part of the Watch D.O.G.S. today.
